Rebecca Smith is a UK-based multidisciplinary artist, AI creative and conceptual designer, best known as the founder and creative mind behind Mamatangyai and MAMATA STUDIO. Combining AI, fashion, storytelling and product design, she creates bold, surreal and emotionally driven imagery exploring identity, body neutrality, femininity, hidden disability, mental health and transformation.

Rebecca’s work has been exhibited internationally, including at the Oculus World Trade Center in New York and in Germany. Her project Metamorphosis was presented at the Cluster Jewellery Fair at Protein Studios, Shoreditch, while her fashion film Reimagining Plastic was featured during Neo Fashion Berlin Fashion Week. Her work was also selected for the front cover of the FUMES and Perfumes catalogue and has received recognition from the Charis AI Awards.

Her creative achievements also include contributing artwork to a St Jude’s charity auction, developing the Fashion Plastique project for the AI Design Awards, and collaborating with AWEDACITY on Pieces of Me, a body-positive colouring book created to encourage creativity, mindfulness and self-acceptance. Her artwork and prints have been made available through independent art platforms and her own creative collections.

Now represented by Republic of Imagination, Rebecca continues to develop original editorial campaigns, conceptual brand collaborations, fashion imagery and never-before-seen product ideas through MAMATA STUDIO. Her work challenges traditional beauty standards and reimagines familiar objects, brands and experiences through a distinctive, playful and unconventional visual language.
